me

Hi, my name is Sara Sandhaug, and I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Interaction Design at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). I am working on my master’s thesis and will graduate in summer 2026. As part of my studies, I completed an exchange semester at Elisava Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, during the first semester of my master’s.

In addition to my studies, I work at Klatreverket Torshov, a climbing center in Oslo, as an instructor, safety guard, and receptionist. Outside of work and school, I enjoy climbing, running, and spending time with friends. I would describe myself as creative, engaged, structured, and detail-oriented, with strong work capacity and a high ability to execute.





INTERESTS AND SKILLS


I am passionate about understanding what users truly need, often before they realize it themselves. I enjoy working at the intersection of creativity and problemsolving, combining innovative thinking with analytical and realistic solution development.

I am motivated by uncovering real user needs and translating them into meaningful solutions through prototyping, testing, and iteration. I am particularly interested in the relationship between visual design, interaction design, and service design.

I have a short background as an entrepreneur when my youth enterprise started a limited company with our idea iPakk. Because of education, this company has been dissolved, but I don't rule out the possibility of further developing it in the future.
